Inclusive Care

Find out how embracing diversity and inclusion can support you to provide quality palliative care to older people.

ELDAC Inclusive Care

Australia is one of the most diverse nations in the world. This is reflected in our older population and the aged care workforce providing care to older people. Where we are born, our cultural background, and our life experiences influence our preferences and choices about the care we receive. Inclusive care recognises and supports the uniqueness of every person we care for, which helps us to provide high-quality, meaningful, and individualised care.

The Inclusive Care campaign invites you to consider the diversity of the people you care for, and the people you work alongside. It also invites you to discover how embracing and celebrating our similarities and differences can support good quality care at the end of life.

We encourage you to download and share these resources and to reflect on how you can support diversity and inclusion while providing care to older people. You can also share your feedback and thoughts in the quiz below.
