Voluntary Assisted Dying

Voluntary assisted dying (VAD) is the assistance provided by a health practitioner to a person with terminal disease, illness or medical condition to end their life. VAD laws have been passed in all Australian States - Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales.

These resources explain Australian VAD laws in the context of aged and home care.
