Palliative care projects database - Digital Innovations

Finding Australian projects, research and resources

Each year the Commonwealth and State Governments fund projects and studies relating to palliative care and aged care. Many of these studies produce useful resources that could help others in the aged care sector and workforce. However, finding information about the projects can be difficult. There is no one stop platform that allows users to search and identify projects and products of palliative care research and activities conducted across Australia.

This project aims to build a national database of palliative care projects conducted (in the past and present) in Australia. Users will be able to search for projects in the database by search or by various filters such as advance care planning, bereavement or tools. This searchable database is expected to be valuable for a range of users including: funders, policymakers, health services, managers, clinicians, researchers, and medical devices/technology sector.

Getting involved

We will be designing and building the database and search interface over the next twelve months. We would be interested in knowing the types of projects and resources you look for. Tell us what you would like to find in this projects database.
