Care worker App Project - Technology and Innovation

Care worker App project

ELDAC Care ModelThe care worker app project aims to develop and evaluate an app that could support Australian aged care support workers (care workers) in caring for older Australians approaching the end of life in the home care setting.

We have started this project with a review of the published literature and a review of the phone apps for care workers currently available. We will undertake co-design, build and user testing in 2021 and will be working with staff from the sector in developing the app.
